Science Saturdays at Tumbleweed Ranch
2250 S. McQueen Rd
Saturday, May 12, 2012
12 P.M. - 4 P.M.

Science Saturdays, a free monthly event for children and families that combines science experiments with historic home tours, returns to Chandler’s Tumbleweed Ranch for the fall, winter and spring seasons. Science Saturdays are presented by the Chandler Museum and utilize the unique features of Tumbleweed Ranch, a collection of historic homes, active planting fields, unique agricultural equipment, and animals located within Tumbleweed Park, 2250 S. McQueen Road. The 12-acre ranch serves as a living classroom that engages learners of all ages in an outdoor setting to connect with science, history, and the art of farming. The science experiments are held on the porch of the McCroskey House, a 1917 home restored to look as it might have existed in the 1920s.

Science Saturdays will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on the following dates:

· October 8, 2011
· December 10, 2011
· January 14, 2012
