Families, local school groups, marching bands, civic organizations, neighborhoods, dance troupes, and businesses are all welcome to participate in the parade (see the entry categories below) and add to the pageantry of the Tumbleweed Tree Lighting Ceremony. This event helps to bring our community together to kick-off the holidays.
Interested in participating in the 2015 Parade of Lights? Sign-ups are now being accepted for parade entries - floats, walking groups, dancing groups, vehicles, marching bands and more!
Entries deadline is Monday, October 19, 2015 at 5pm or when all entry space is reserved.
PLEASE NOTE: As of August 7, 2015 - Walking Groups are NO LONGER being accepted
Entry Sign-Up Procedure
1. Read the Parade Entry Information Sheet for all dates, rules and regulations
2. Complete the Parade Entry Application or the Parade Entry Online Application
3. Wait for the entry confirmation to be sent via email to Parade Entry contact person.

4. A Wait List will be available for entries should space fill up
The parade will start at the corner of Arizona Avenue and Frye Road!
The remaining portion of the route will remain the same - north to Buffalo Street, east to Arizona Place and south to Boston Street
Are you interested in volunteering? We have a great opportunity for anyone who needs community service hours or just want to help out a great event. Volunteer opportunities range from setting up, parade banner holder, activity booths or helping guests with event information.

Guests attending the event are strongly encouraged to arrive early to find parking. There are several locations to park at throughout the Downtown area. Please visit the parking map and suggested routes to access each parking site. **Please be aware that Arizona Ave. will be closed from Chandler Blvd. to Frye Rd. from approximately 3:30 pm to 10 pm.
Disabled Parking Services
Guests arriving for the event in need of disabled parking will be able to use the lot provided for them. Parking is located on the corner of Boston St. and San Marcos Place. Please Note: there is limited disabled parking. It is a first-come availability.
Road closures will take place for this event. Please make sure to plan accordingly and how to move around the area.
