The 2017 Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-off will feature adventurous cooks, ages 10-15 years old, in our Junior Cook-Off. If you think you‘ve got what it takes to cook up a dessert that would please any Old West cowboy on the trail. Top three desserts receive awards. Check-in @ 9:30 a.m.; awards presented at 1 p.m.

Browse the work of Western artists, unique crafts and tasty food finds in the Chuck Wagon Marketplace. 

Live Music from Barefoot and Pregnant
Barefoot and Pregnant is a multi-part harmony group  that features accordion, ukulele, upright bass, washboard, snare and guitar for a unique sound that transports listeners back to the 50s and 60s, when women country singers like Tammy Wynette and Loretta Lynn were the queens of music.

Interactive Exhibits and House Tours with Chandler Museum

Walk the hay stacks for an interactive exhibit that tells the story of the cattle drive. Or, tour the 
100-year-old McCroskey House.

Pricing varies; we suggest bringing cash to purchase these special tastes from our competing wagons.

10 - 11 a.m. Breakfast plates: biscuits and gravy, eggs, cinnamon rolls, huevos rancheros

12 - 1 p.m. Lunch plates: pork stew, buffalo nuggets, bierocks, chili, pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, pork posole

2 - 3 p.m. Dessert plates: donuts, frybread, cinnamon rolls, cobbler and spotted pup

Wagon Judging

1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Wagon Authenticity Judging

Located at Tumbleweed Ranch ; ‚ÄčJudges review each wagon based on its historical authenticity as an 1800s trail wagon, and its travel-worthiness. Judges also rate the authenticity of the camp set up and team dress. Awards presented on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Valley Fever Presents Rick and Tony Martinez5 - 7:30 p.m. Sunset Dinner on the Ranch, 

benefiting Pardners of Tumbleweed Ranch. 

This unique outdoor eating experience on the Ranch is complete with an 8 oz. top sirloin, salad, bread, potato and dessert. With entertainment provided by Rick and Tony Martinez, as well as local beer and wine to purchase, this is the perfect date night with a cause.

Valley Fever presents Chip Hanna6 - 8 p.m.
Campfire and S'mores
with music from Chip Hanna                              

A Campfire Glow with live music from Chip Hanna, will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, when ranch visitors can enjoy a roaring camp fire, roast marshmallows to make s’mores, and relax under the stars. S’mores fixins can be purchased at the ranch, or families can bring their own marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers. Chip is a former Rawhide stuntman who will entertain attendees with western classics and cowboy trail songs.
