Junior Cook-Off Competition

The 2017 Chandler Chuck Wagon Cook-off will feature adventurous cooks, ages 10-15 years old, in our Junior Cook-Off. If you think you‘ve got what it takes to cook up a dessert that would please any Old West cowboy on the trail, then register for this great event! Top three desserts receive awards.

Wagon Authenticity Judging

located at Tumbleweed Ranch ‚Äč

Judges review each wagon based on its historical authenticity as an 1800s trail wagon, and its travel-worthiness. 

Judges also rate the authenticity of the camp set up and team dress. Awards presented on Saturday at 4 p.m.


 

Campfire


6 - 8 p.m.
Campfire and S'mores
with music from Chip Hanna

A Campfire Glow will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, when ranch visitors can enjoy a roaring camp fire, roast marshmallows to make s’mores, and relax under the stars. S’mores fixins can be purchased at the ranch, or families can bring their own marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers.
