With Chandler's landfill closed, and rising costs associated with landfill disposal, recycling in the blue can is more important now than ever before! Materials accepted in Chandler's curbside recycling program, when tossed in your blue recycling can, are processed for the market right here in Chandler!  For every ton recycled, the City receives $9 per ton, helping to offset costs associated with landfill disposal.  When we choose to recycle, the savings adds up!

Recycling, Trash and Other Environmental Waste Programs and Services

Recycling-Solid Waste Collection Center - Located at 955 East Queen Creek Road, southwest corner of Queen Creek and McQueen Roads, this facility is a convenient drop-off location for Chandler residents to recycle and dispose of residental trash.

Holiday Collection Schedule for Recycling and Trash - A list of City-observed holidays, and what you need to do to ensure your recycling or trash container is emptied when your collection day falls on a holiday.
 
Bulk Collection for Recycling and Trash - For items too large to fit in a curbside or alley container, schedule a FREE curbside recycling or trashy bulk pick up! Recycling bulks are required for materials accepted for recycling. For details, click on the above link or call 480-782-3510.

Bikes for Tykes... and Big Kids Too! - An award-winning recycling program that restores bicycles sent to the landfill and distributes them to less fortunate kids in our community during the holidays.

Multi-Family and Business Recycling - Recycling is a community affair! To serve residents living in a townhouse, patio home or a multi-family community with four or more units, and businesses who do not have recycling in-house, Chandler provides recycling drop-off sites throughout the City.

Recycling Drop-off Sites - Solid Waste Services encourages the public to participate in Chandler's recycling programs. In support of the community's efforts to reduce waste, the City offers recycling drop-off sites conveniently located throughout the City for residents and businesses to recycle.
