Merit System Board

The five-member board assists by making recommendations to the City Manager regarding the administration of the City's Personnel Rules.

The Merit System Board conducts appeal hearings involving dismissal, suspension, or demotion of regular employees as provided by these rules, and reviews amendments and changes to these rules and, upon request of the City Manager, submits recommendations, investigates and makes recommendations on any other matter of personnel policy.
