Transaction Privilege Tax Changes - Tax and License

The Arizona Department of Revenue is offering classes on the new Transaction Privilege Tax forms and other changes to reporting requirements.

These free sessions will preview the new forms and explain how they will apply to businesses. Arizona Department of Revenue staff will be available to answer your questions. For more information on the Arizona Department of Revenue educational sessions, click here.

The City of Chandler will continue to administer transaction privilege taxes and licensing through the 2016 calendar year.

The State of Arizona and its Cities and Towns continue to work together to achieve the goal of simplifying the manner in which taxpayers report and pay their Transaction Privilege Tax.  We want to ensure that there is a smooth transition in reporting and paying all transaction privilege tax.

Due to the complexity in modifying the Arizona Department of Revenue’s computer systems, ADOR will not be the single point of licensing, filing and payment of all transaction privilege taxes in January of 2016.

For 2016, taxpayers will continue to file and pay transaction privilege taxes to the state and most municipalities as they do today.  Mor
