Centenarian Celebration
We're highlighting the stories of those individuals living in Chandler who turn 100 years of age or older in 2012. Centenarians were honored at the 2012 Pioneer Luncheon and the Chandler Birthday Party on May 17. Read more our about our Centenarians!
Centennial Southside Neighborhood History Cookbook
This free history cookbook, funded in part by the Arizona Humanities Council, shares the stories and recipes of the Southside neighborhood, Chandler’s historic African American and Hispanic neighborhood.
Centennial Scholarship
In honor of the Chandler Centennial, the City of Chandler, in partnership with Chandler-Gilbert Community College, awarded twelve scholarships to Chandler residents attending CGCC during the fall 2012 semester .

Centennial Quilt
The Quilters Guild at the Chandler Senior Center have produced a beautiful quilt to commemorate our 100th birthday. The quilt will be displayed throughout the City during 2012.
Time Capsule
The Chandler Arts Commission and the Chandler Museum have partnered on our 2062 time capsule, which was dedicated on May 17th. But this one won't be buried!
Traveling History Exhibits
Learn something new about your city’s story! Watch for these history exhibits that will be displayed throughout the city in 2012. This project is a collaboration between Chandler Museum and Chandler Public Library.

NEW Chandler History Book
This soft cover book highlighting Chandler’s 100-year history is available now at the McCullough-Price House, other City facilities, and various retail outlets.

Centennial Speaker Series
Between January and May 2012, speakers presented their stories at local libraries covering topics ranging from city government development to sheep ranching traditions.

Chandler Century Ride
This March 31, 2012 event was an expansion of the annual spring Family Bike Ride event, to showcase Chandler and promote bicycling. It included a free family bike ride along the Paseo Trail, as well as charged event portion featuring a 50 K (35-mile) Intermediate ride, and a 100 K (62-mile) Advanced ride.
