The Chandler Aquatic staff establishes
the operational hours of each aquatic
facility to coincide with the school
calendar for the district in which each
facility is located (i.e., Hamilton and
Mesquite Groves Aquatics Centers
reside in the Chandler Unified School
District, Desert Oasis Aquatic Center
resides in the Mesa Unified School
District). Once school resumes,
we cease daily operations at the
facilities.

Water Watchers at Phoenix Children’s
Hospital brings Drowning Impact
Awareness Month to Arizona in
August to remember those touched by drownings, to encourage everyone to
remember the impact of each and
every child drowning, and to create
positive conversations about
water safety through the long
swimming season, including Labor
Day weekend which can become
especially deadly each year.
