Chandler Kids for Conservation
The City's Solid Waste/Recycling, Water Conservation and Stormwater programs have announced the 19 winners for Chandler’s sixth annual Environmental Art Contest! Fourth grade students, attending public, private, and charter schools in Chandler, submitted more than 950 entries in this year's 4th Grade Environmental Art Contest. Illustrating the importance of reducing waste, conserving water, and preventing pollution, every student sharing their vision is a winner in demonstrating their commitment to environmental stewardship. The nineteen drawings selected are used in a 12-month calendar, poster, billboards for the City’s recycling and trash collection trucks, and other promotions.
