The Human Relations Commission and City of Chandler are proud to present Hispanic Heritage Month, in honor of the many contributions of Chandler's Hispanic founders and residents through the years.

Chandler's 2009 Hispanic Heritage Celebration

A.J. Chandler Park (west of AZ Ave.)

Join us for a FREE evening performance of "Por Amor" by local playwright and actor James Garcia.  "Por Amor" is a romantic comedy about love, fame, greed and behind-the-scenes treachery in the world of touring theater.

Event Schedule:

  • 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Student Performers/Flamenco del Sol Dancers/Salsa Duet/Oppendance/Si Se Puede
  • 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. –  Mariachi Pasion
  • 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. – The Play “Por Amor” by James Garcia
