This year's Hispanic Heritage Month events include:



Hispanic Heritage Art Walk

 
Friday, September 16
6:00 to 9:30 p.m.
Downtown Chandler - AJ Chandler Park

Local handcrafted art, ballet folklorico, a youth mariachi band and a Tucson-based salsa-rumba fusion band; a recipe for a lively, cultural Friday night. In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, the monthly Third Friday Chandler Art Walk in Downtown Chandler is partnering with local cultural organizations for the Sept. 16 art walk. 

 This free-to-attend event runs 6:00-9:30 p.m. Entertainment will begin at 6:30 p.m. when Arizona band, Rumba Mezcal, begins their set. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 7 p.m. for a joint performance by Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli - Chandler, AZ and a youth mariachi band.

Culture is abundant at the 17th Annual C.A.L.L.E. de Arizona Mariachi & Folklorico Festival, enjoy a vibrant journey of the music and traditional dances of Mexico. Featuring Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, a Grammy Award-winning  13-piece ensemble and one of the biggest names in Mariachi.  Joining them by popular demand is Mariachi Sonido de Mexico from Tucson, AZ.
