Park Pavilion Rentals & Reservations
The City of Chandler has a variety of picnic pavilions in numerous parks throughout the community that can be rented for family activities and special events. The pavilions can accommodate small groups or gatherings of as many as 320 people. Pavilion Rentals

RESERVATIONS: Reservations are taken up to 12 months in advance. Fees must be paid within 24 hours of reservation booking. Please note: Pavilion and Ball Field fees are now being accepted over the phone or at the Community Center, Snedigar Recreation Center or Tumbleweed Recreation Center using your debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). We do not accept personal or company checks. Reservations can be made for any day of the week, for any time between 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Reservations are accepted for all holidays.

REFUND POLICY: Cancellations from 1 to 11 months in advance will have 75 % refund. Cancellations of 1 month or less will not receive a refund.

Tumbleweed Park Pavilions 2250 S. McQueen Rd.
There are now 18 pavilions for rent at Tumbleweed Park, for events of all sizes. Our new McDowell Mountain corporate pavilion can hold up to 330 people. Our large San Tan and South Mountain pavilions hold up to 80. Each has ample seating, barbecue grills and access to electricity. Fifteen other ramadas are also at your disposal for smaller events and can hold anywhere from 15 to 30 people. A refundable security deposit is required (listed above).

Desert Breeze Park Large Pavilions 660 N. Desert Breeze Blvd. West
Desert Breeze Park has many recreational facilities for public use, both free and available for rent. The “Cluster” lakeside pavilion complex is a beautiful group picnic area for groups of all sizes. In the Cluster, there are three separate pavilions and one barbeque pavilion with four grills. Each pavilion can be rented, and one bar-beque grill is allotted per pavilion. Each pavilion has 10 tables and holds a maximum of 80 people. The seating capacity of the entire Cluster complex is 300 people. A refundable deposit is required (listed above).

Other Park Pavilions
There are pavilions at Arrowhead Park (3), Chuparosa Park (2), Espee Park (3), Folley Park (7), and Pima Park (2). These pavilions can be rented for picnics or other events. A refundable security deposit is required (listed above). Note: Veterans Oasis Park pavilions can only be reserved through the Environmental Education Center at 480-782-2890.

Meeting and Event Room Reservations Call the facility you wish to use for your special event or meeting.

Ball Fields The lighted Ball Fields at Arrowhead, Desert Breeze, Espee, Folley, Pima, Shawnee, and West Chandler Parks, as well as the Chandler Boys and Girls Club, Andersen Junior High, and Bogle Junior High Schools are available for rentals. The Ball Field reservation fee is $7 per hour (resident) $9 (non-resident), per field if a reservation is requested. There is an additional fee of $15 per hour (resident) $19 (non-resident), if lights are needed. Ball Field reservations can be made up to three days in advance, and must be paid at the time of the reservation. Additional fees and permits are incurred for Kyrene Aprende and Hendrix Jr. High fields.

Fun Packs and Volleyball Nets You can rent a fun pack for your picnic or family outing. A fun pack has all sorts of fun equipment, such as a volleyball and net, softball equipment, miscellaneous balls, and much more. You can rent it for $10 resident, $13 non-resident, plus a $50 deposit. Fun packs must be reserved. Volleyball nets can be reserved free of charge at the Chandler Community Center and Snedigar Recreation Center. A $50 refundable security deposit is required. Volleyballs are also available for a fee of $5 for residents, $7 for non-residents. Due to vandalism, nets will no longer be left on park premises.

Malt Beverage Permit A Malt Beverage Permit is required of individuals or parties who wish to enjoy a malt beverage in any of our City Parks. Permit conditions are in accordance with the rules and regulations of City Code Chapter 11, Section 3, and Chapter 31. Permits are $10 for residents and $13 for non-residents, and may be obtained at the Chandler Community Center, Snedigar Recreation Center and Tumbleweed Recreation Center with a valid driver license.

Special Park Requests Individuals or parties who wish to request permission for special activities in city parks – such as moon bounces, jumpers, pony rides, petting zoos, amplified sound, etc. – must submit a Special Park Request Form. Requests are required to be submitted at the Community Center (125 E. Commonwealth Ave.) at least 10 days in advance of the event and are typically only approved for the larger Community Parks. There is no charge for the Special Park Request.
