The Day of Play is a state wide celebration recognizing the importance of fitness, health and wellness for kids of all ages. Families are provided an opportunity to learn about a healthy lifestyle.

Tumbleweed Park
Free Admission
Come spend the morning at Tumbleweed Park as we promote health, wellness, and fitness for kids of all ages. Free activities will get the kids playing and their minds active, while parents can explore the various booths on health, wellness, and fitness.
Day of Play will feature a variety of fun activities organized by many of the non-profit organizations, businesses and municipal divisions serving the community.

Stage Performance Group Descriptions
G.I.T. Fit
If you want to increase stamina, heart strength and total fitness then let's G.I.T. Fit! G.I.T. Fit stands for Group Interval Training Fitness. The multifaceted routines in this popular and trending workout are created for ALL fitness levels and integrate aerobic and anaerobic intervals. Cardio intervals are designed to boost metabolism, burn lots of calories and improve cardiovascular health. Whether you're a beginner to the world of exercise or a seasoned enthusiast, you will certainly elevate your fitness level in this fun, high energy, no-equipment-needed class. The regular class is held on Tuesdays at 7pm in the Tumbleweed Recreation Center. Demonstrated and taught by Julia Johnson, Certified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor
