July 30, 2010 July 29, 2010 - City Council Meeting Results CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Chandler City Council met at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 29, 2010. In light of the tragic police shooting that occurred the previous evening, the meeting was abbreviated and held for the purpose of continuing all 60 agenda items until the August Council meetings. On behalf of the City Council and the Police Department, Mayor Dunn thanked the public for their outpouring of support and asked the community to keep deceased Chandler Police Detective Carlos Ledesma and his family, as well as the two injured officers and their families, in their thoughts and prayers. The meeting concluded shortly after 7 p.m.
The next City Council meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, August 16, 2010.
