Resurfacing of Loop 101 frontage roads south of Guadalupe Road starts Monday (Aug. 2)
Chandler, Ariz. – Drivers who use the Loop 101 (Price Freeway) frontage roads between Guadalupe Road and the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) in the Chandler area can look forward to a smoother ride after a pavement resurfacing project that starts Monday (Aug. 2).
Both north- and southbound Loop 101 frontage roads will be narrowed to one lane for approximately one week to allow crews to remove the existing top layer of pavement and resurface the roadways, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the work zones and consider alternate routes while the project is taking place.
In addition to the single lane restrictions along the frontage roads south of Guadalupe Road, southbound turns from Frye Road to the Price frontage road will not be allowed from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday (Aug 3) to allow crews to do the paving work in that area. |
