Register now for popular Chandler HOA Academy

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Residents signing up for the City’s popular HOA Academy will learn from the experts about building successful, sustainable HOAs.

The Academy consists of six evening classes beginning Thursday, September 2, and will run every Thursday thereafter through October 7. Classes will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Chandler Police Department, Main Station-Community Room located at 250 E. Chicago Street.

Classes are facilitated in an interactive, hands-on setting to allow optimum learning and practical application. The curriculum will include training on how to effectively address challenges that affect those who live in an HOA.

Class topics include HOA budgets and structure, meeting facilitation, CC&R enforcement, homeowner rights and responsibilities, selecting a Management Company and more.

The classes are free, but pre-registration is required. Participants must register by August 27. To register, contact the Neighborhood Resources Division at 480-782-4320 or register by sending an e-mail to neighborhood.programs@chandleraz.gov. Those who complete at least five classes will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be recognized at a future Chandler City Council meeting.

The HOA Academy is offered by Chandler’s Neighborhood Programs Office in partnership with The Leadership Centre. The Leadership Centre was created in 1996 and provides residents with information, resources and tools that create and support effective community leaders. Visit www.TheLeadershipCentre.org for more information.
