Agencies invited to apply for Human Services funding; Attend workshops

Each year the City’s Community Development Division works with Chandler's Housing and Human Services Commission to allocate funds to over 50 non-profit organizations that provide social services to Chandler residents in need.

Youth programs, foreclosure prevention, emergency home repair, legal services, homeless and food programs are a few of the services funded in prior years.
Non-profit agencies who serve Chandler residents will be able to apply for funding starting the week of October 31 and are invited to attend a Human Services Allocation Process Workshop to learn more about the application process.

The workshop will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday, October 17 at Chandler City Hall, 175 S. Arizona Avenue, 2nd Floor, HR Training Room A.

The hands-on workshops will review the restructured agency application instructions along with the questions and application evaluation tool. This will be the only opportunity to review the application prior to its availability online using eC-Impact.

Technical assistance training on how to use eC-Impact will be provided to new users and those needing a refresher at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18 at the Vision Gallery, 10 E. Chicago Street (south end of City Hall complex).

For more information, or to register for a workshop, contact Jeanne Bosarge at 480-782-4358, or email her at Jeanne.bosarge@chandleraz.gov.
