Chandler residents save money using free prescription discount card

Since its inception four years ago, Chandler residents have saved a total of $556,453 through the City’s discount prescription drug card saving program. The program was launched as part of Mayor Jay Tibshraeny’s Health Connect initiative, which was designed to create a healthier Chandler by promoting financial, physical and mental health.

The City has partnered with Coast2Coast Rx to allow all Chandler residents, regardless of income, age, or health status to participate in the program and save on the cost of their medications. Chandler does not incur any cost to participate in the program. The free prescription drug card can be printed online at

Residents may use it at all pharmacy chains and most independent pharmacies in Chandler as many times as needed. The card gives customers an average discount of 65 percent off the retail price. No application or personal information is required to get a prescription drug discount card. It also can help with dental, visual, hearing, pet prescriptions and more.
