The Real Thing Band to perform at Veterans Oasis Park

Dynamic lead vocalists Melisza and Jessica Gransbergen and The Real Thing Band return to the outdoor stage at Veterans Oasis Park Thursday, Feb. 16, for the popular Sonoran Sunset Series concert.

The free hour-long concert begins at 6 p.m. and features an expansive repertoire spanning music genres from Pop, Top 40, 60s, 70s, Rock, Easy Listening, Country, Soul, Funk, Motown, Jazz, Blues and current dance hits. Known for their killer harmonies, the Gransbergen sisters are backed by a strong group of experienced career musicians, including keys, guitar, bass, drums and vocals.

The series of outdoor concerts are held the third Thursday of the month from October through March and concertgoers are welcome to bring blankets, folding chairs and food.  In cases of inclement weather, the performances will be held indoors at the park’s Environmental Education Center.

Coming March 16 will be The Knockabouts performing a mix of traditional Celtic music, authentic pub tunes and smooth harmonies that capture the spirit and soul of the Celtic lands.
