The Chubby Dog Band
The Chubby Dog Band is a local Chandler R&B band that has a large palette of songs and styles to draw from for orchestrating a memorable event ranging from the Motown era right up to today’s modern sounds, the Chubby Dog Band specialize in playing the right song, at the right dynamic level to ensure your party is a big success. With a full 4 piece rhythm section, They bring a full sound that is tight and soulful.

String Theory Biography
String Theory is an acoustic/electric duo playing a mixture of instrumental and vocal tunes in Jazz, Blues and Pop styles. String Theory is made up of  Doug Arnold, who sings and plays a Breedlove steel string acoustic guitar, and Shawn Manske, who sings and plays a Clevinger electric upright bass and a Fender bass.

Doug Arnold has over 30 years of professional experience on guitar and vocals.  Doug started playing professionally at age sixteen with a valley group called the Win'Jammers. As a member of the Win'Jammers he played at The Riverboat Roomin New Yorkas the opening act for The Buddy Morrow Big Band,Three USO tours to Southeast Asia, Europe and Vietnam,Expo '67 World's Fairand the Hollywood Bowl.  Doug took music theory in college and studied music throughout the 70's. He has had over 20 years of experience playing in variety bands. Among them were Susanne & Company, The VIP Band, Shelly Standing & Standing Room Only and countless casuals. With Shelly Standing's band he opened for the Four Tops and Barbara Mandrell.  Doug is now pursuing his second career of playing music.

Shawn Manske has over 27 years of professional experience on electric and upright Bass.  Shawn studied jazz under the infamous Grant Wolf at Mesa Community College in the 70's.  Several years with the following local groups; Cosmo Topper, David Dodt and the Hi-Fi's, Michael Farrell Group, Sonya Jason, Delphine Cortez, Dan Pinson, and Standing Room Only.  Shawn performed with the Coasters, Brian Hyland, Frieda Payne, Otis Day and the Knights, countless casuals, and many years as bassist with the VIP Orchestras.
