Hispanic Heritage Month Photo Exhibit

The Annual Hispanic Heritage Photo Exhibit is devoted to all the pioneering families of Chandler. Through photos and stories, the exhibit shares the struggles, self-reliance, resiliency and pride of these families to shape the roots of the Hispanic community today.

After the successes of the previous two events in 2003 and 2004, the City of Chandler continued its call to the Hispanic community to gather their history and memories for display in the City's Vision Gallery. The community once again responded generously and with their assistance and support, the City will maintain the tradition of gathering Hispanic history.

Special thanks to the Human Relations Commission, Arts Commission, Vision Gallery, Chandler Historical Museum and the numerous volunteers who helped with interviewing and writing the bios for this year's exhibit.

The City of Chandler expresses heart-felt gratitude to all of the families that generously contributed to the Hispanic Heritage Photo Exhibit, which was dedicated to our community on September 9, 2005.
