Application orientation session scheduled for organizations applying for Chandler's FY 2021-2022 general and federal funds

The City’s Neighborhood Resources Department will host an application orientation for organizations interested in applying for FY 2021-2022 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds, and General Funds.

The virtual WebEx orientation session will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22. Interested organizations may participate
online or via phone by calling 1-415-655-0001 and entering the following access code: 145 072 4771.        

The Fiscal Year 2021-2022 application and accompanying materials will be available for review at the 
Neighborhood Resources Department starting Monday, Oct. 19. The application will be open for submission on Thursday, Oct. 22, following the application orientation.

The Neighborhood Resources Department oversees the annual allocation of more than $2.5 million in local and federal funding for human services; housing rehabilitation and capital improvements; neighborhood revitalization; and affordable housing activities benefitting Chandler residents. The City’s current priorities for Federal funds can be found in the 2020-2025 Consolidated Plan online at
Plans and Reports. Organizations should reference the 2019 Community Needs Assessment online for General Fund priorities.

Organizations interested in applying for FY 2021-2022 CDBG, HOME or General Funds should attend the virtual orientation. The session will include a review of funding priorities for each fund source, the online application process and current contractual requirements.
