Application orientation session scheduled for organizations applying to City of Chandler for FY 2020-2021 CDBG, HOME and General Funds

The City’s Neighborhood Resources Department will host an application orientation for organizations interested in applying for FY 2020-2021 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds, Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) funds and General Funds.

The orientation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at the City Council Chambers, 88 E. Chicago St. Check-in will begin at 1:30 p.m. The Fiscal Year 2020-2021 application and accompanying materials will be available online
on Monday, Oct 21.

The Neighborhood Resources Department oversees the annual allocation of more than $2.9 million in local and federal funding for human services; housing rehabilitation and capital improvements; neighborhood revitalization; and affordable housing activities benefitting Chandler residents. The City’s current priorities can be found online in the 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan 
and the 2019 Community Needs Assessment.


Organizations interested in applying for FY 2020-2021 CDBG, HOME or General Funds should attend the required orientation. The session will include a review of funding priorities for each fund source, the new online application and current contractual requirements.
