CHANDLER, Ariz. – Applications for exhibitors, performers and vendors are currently being accepted for the annual Chandler Multicultural Festival. The 27th annual event will take place at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park, 3 S. Arizona Ave., on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The free event brings out thousands of people to Dr. A.J. Chandler Park to enjoy cultural performances, kids activities, an Asian Village, delicious foods and more. Interested businesses, nonprofits and performers are encouraged to complete an online application at Chandler Multicultural Festival. Exhibitor fees start at $50. Cultural merchandise, information and food vendors will receive priority, but all types of exhibitors are welcome to apply.

In 1995, the Friends of the Chandler Public Library established the Chandler Multicultural Festival to bring the community together for a fun-filled day of art, music and dance while also learning a little more about the rich cultural diversity that exists in our community. Now in its 27th year, the festival has grown into a signature event for the City that brings thousands of people together to celebrate different cultures in our community and is organized by the City’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division.

The deadline to submit a vendor or performance application is Wednesday, Dec. 1. For more information about the Chandler Multicultural Festival or to discuss sponsorship opportunities, contact Rori Minor with the City’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Division at 480-782-4329.
