Mayor Kevin Hartke will deliver his first State of the City address on Thursday, Feb. 21, at the Chandler Center for the Arts (CCA), 250 N. Arizona Ave. The event begins at 5 p.m. with a light reception in the CCA foyer, followed by the Mayor’s remarks at approximately 6 p.m.
The theme of this year’s address will focus on the talented people who connect our community, while highlighting the best in innovation and community service. Mayor Hartke also will discuss Chandler’s fiscal position, new capital projects, neighborhoods, public safety and more.
“I am very excited for my first State of the City as Mayor,” said Mayor Kevin Hartke. “I look forward to sharing with our community our recent successes, how we are thriving as a city as well as exploring what the future holds for Chandler.”
During the opening reception, attendees can view a Waymo vehicle and ask questions about its technology. Attendees also will have the opportunity to share why they #LoveChandler with David Specht, owner of improvMANIA in Downtown Chandler.
The speech will be broadcast live on Facebook and available on demand online the following week. The event is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.
