Get into the holiday spirit by attending a free performance by one of the region’s most popular live bands, The Real Thing Band, at 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, at Chandler’s Veterans Oasis Park, 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road.

Part of the City’s Sonoran Sunset Series concert lineup, this fun, professional, hard-hitting show band is led by vocalists Melisza and Jessica Gransbergen and is backed by a strong group of experienced career musicians playing keys, guitar, bass, drums and vocals.

The hour-long outdoor concert will feature holiday tunes from a variety of music genres and promises to captivate and enthrall. Bring your blankets, picnic baskets and folding chairs and enjoy a lakeside venue with star-filled sky.

The series of outdoor concerts are held the third Thursday of the month from October through March. In cases of inclement weather, the performance will be held indoors at the park’s Environmental Education Center.
