Chandler residents invited to Mini HOA Summit

Mayor Jay Tibshraeny invites Chandler residents living in a homeowner’s association (HOA) community to attend his HOA Mini Summit on Tuesday, Feb. 9. The Summit starts at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Tumbleweed Recreation Center, Cotton Room, 745 E. Germann Road.

During the free event, Beth Mulcahy, Esq., with The Mulcahy Law Firm, P.C., will provide an overview of proposed legislation that impacts HOA communities. Mulcahy also will present “Communication Equals Successful Associations” that highlights the importance of good communication between HOA board members and homeowners. A question-and-answer session will be held after the presentations.

The Mini HOA Summit continues the Mayor’s focus on sustainable neighborhoods and developing neighborhood leaders, and complements his Listening Tours and ongoing HOA and Traditional Neighborhood Academies. Summit attendees also will have the opportunity to pre-register for the upcoming Spring HOA Academy, which is scheduled to start on Wednesday, March 23.

Residents must pre-register for the Mayor’s Mini HOA Summit by contacting the Chandler Neighborhood Programs Office at 480-782-4320 or emailing neighborhood.programs@chandleraz.gov no later than Monday, Feb. 8. For more information, call 480-782-4354.
