Public invited to Mayor Jay Tibshraeny’s Annual State of the City Address

Mayor Jay Tibshraeny will present his 2016 State of the City address on Thursday, Feb. 18, at the Chandler City Council Chambers, 88 E. Chicago St. The free event will start with a light reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by a “Behind the Scenes” video that explores the City’s operations and the Mayor’s remarks.

Mayor Tibshraeny will detail Chandler’s many successes and important topics from the past year, including economic development, quality of life, public safety and transparency in government. 

“Chandler continues to add programs, services and event that open up government to our residents and stakeholders,” said Mayor Tibshraeny. “My address will touch on many of these so that we may continue to have a healthy dialogue across the entire community. 

The Mayor also will highlight the City’s financial standing, budget process and community relationships. 

The event is free and is open to all residents. No RSVP is required to attend. The State of the City address will be re-broadcast periodically on the City's Cable Channel 11 and live streamed on the City's website, chandleraz.gov.
