Ride-In-Movie at the Park

Residents who love movies and bicycling can combine their interests by participating in a free Ride-In-Movie event hosted by the City of Mesa. The event is planned for 6:45 p.m., Saturday, March 12, at Carriage Lane Park, located along Chandler’s Western Canal Multi-Use Path.

Chandler is joining the City of Mesa and SRP to promote the event, which invites the public to ride their bikes to the park for an outdoor movie experience featuring the movie Paddington, a story about the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear.

Carriage Lane Park is located at 3140 N. Carriage Lane in Mesa, on the north side of the Western Canal, east of Price Road. Be sure to remember your helmets and bike lights. Free kettle corn will be provided to moviegoers.

More information, including information about guided group rides from a chosen location along the suggested route to the park, will be posted online at www.mesaaz.gov/bikeped.
