Cover to Cover Reading Program logoIn-N-Out partners with Chandler Public Library for the “Cover to Cover Club” spring reading program

An exciting partnership between the Chandler Public Library and In-N-Out Burger will once again provide area children with fun reading incentives during the upcoming Spring Break. Between March 5 and April 16, 2016, children ages 4-12 who read five books at his or her reading level can earn a "Cover to Cover Club" reading certificate, along with a coupon for a free hamburger or cheeseburger from In-N-Out.

“Schools in our area may be on break for a week or more, but the fun and learning doesn’t have to take a break,” said Rosanna Johnson, Marketing Assistant for the Chandler Public Library. “This program is an enjoyable and appetizing way for kids to build confidence in their own reading abilities, so that in time they are motivated by a hunger to simply keep reading.”

Families can enroll their children in the program and pick up a reading log from any of the four Chandler Public Library locations. The log is used to list the titles of the books read. After five books are completed, a parent or guardian signs the reading log, returns it to the library, and the child receives their certificate and coupon. If a child between the eligible ages is unable to read themselves, they can still participate if a parent reads the book to them.

For more information, please call 480-782-2800, visit the library website at chandlerlibrary.org, or drop by one of the four library locations starting March 5.
