Volunteers needed for “Let’s Pull Together”

Looking for a way to give back and assist those in need? The City of Chandler is looking for volunteers to assist with its annual “Let’s Pull Together” community service events, which are held every Saturday during the month of April (April 2, 9, 16 and 23). The initiative helps beautify Chandler neighborhoods during the weed season.

Volunteers are assigned to help remove weeds from alleys and public areas as well as assist seniors and disabled residents with their front yard maintenance. Senior or disabled residents who need assistance with weed removal are encouraged to contact the City’s Neighborhood Program’s Office at 480-782-4354.

Chandler residents are requested to report properties and public areas with weeds. To make a report, call 480-782-4320 or complete an online form at chandleraz.gov/forms/sr.aspx. Residents also have the option to make a report using the free “Chandler PublicStuff" mobile app.

If you are interested in volunteering or know someone in need of assistance, contact Cristabel Dykstra with the City’s Neighborhood Programs Office at 480-782-4354 or email cristabel.dykstra@chandleraz.gov.
