This program is designed for low- to moderate- income homeowners and provides no-interest loans to improve the condition and safety of owner-occupied homes. The loans are intended to help rehabilitate single-family homes where health and safety issues are present.
- Provides up to $50,000 for home improvements to remediate safety and sanitation issues as determined by city staff
- 50 to 100 percent of the loan is forgivable depending on household income
Types of Eligible Rehab Improvements
Rehabilitation work can include repairs to bathrooms, kitchens, foundations, interior/exterior paint, smoke & carbon monoxide detectors, replacement or repair of roofs, floors, ceilings, walls, windows, kitchen & bathroom improvements, patio covers, doors, plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and other work approved by the Community Development Division.
