Get ready, Chandler! The Chandler Innovation Fair (CIF) is back for its 16th year, and it's bigger than ever. Co-hosted by the City of Chandler and Chandler Unified School District, this free, family-friendly celebration fills downtown with 160+ hands-on exhibits from local innovators, tech companies, artists and students from schools across the Chandler area. CIF is proud to be a signature event of the statewide Arizona SciTech Festival.
We call it "sneaky science," and here's the secret: your family will be having so much fun, you won't even notice you're learning. Touch it, try it, build it! Discover how science shapes everyday life, and how Chandler is growing its next generation of innovators right here at home.

Common Questions
- Is there a deadline to register?
Yes. The registration deadline is Saturday, Jan. 23, 2027. No submissions will be accepted after this date.
- Do I need to stay for the whole event?
Yes. Attendance is mandatory for the full event, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Partial participation isn't permitted, so please plan to have your booth staffed and active for the entire four hours.
- What do I need to bring?
Exhibitors are responsible for supplying their own equipment and materials needed to run their exhibit. Come prepared with everything your exhibit needs to function.
- What's provided vs. what's not?
Each exhibitor receives a 10x10 tent, one table and two chairs. If your exhibit needs electricity, note it when you complete the participation form. Electrical access is limited and offered first come, first served.
- When can I set up, and when is teardown?
Exhibitors may arrive to set up starting at 7:30 a.m. Booths must be fully set up and ready for inspection by 9 a.m. Teardown begins at 2 p.m., once the event concludes.
- Where do exhibitors park?
Exhibitor parking is the same as attendee parking. See the Event Location and Parking section for garage locations and details.
- How will I know where my booth is located?
Booth assignments and a detailed map layout will be sent out the week of the event.
- Can I bring my own food?
Yes. Food vendors will also be selling items on-site throughout the event, but you're also welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages for personal use during your time at your booth.

Once again, all K-12 schools in the city's boundaries are welcome to participate in the Annual Chandler Innovation Fair Competition. Six winning teams will be awarded a $500 prize, presented to their school's science club or program, for the most educational, most creative and most passionate projects.
Eligibility
- Open to all K-12 schools within the City of Chandler boundaries.
- Schools in the Kyrene School District and the Tempe Union High School District within city limits, including Corona Del Sol High School, are eligible.
- Sirrine Elementary and Summit Academy (Mesa Public Schools), located within the Chandler boundaries, are also eligible.
Awards
- Six winning teams will each receive a $500 prize for their school's science club or program.
- Winners are recognized at the next available City Council meeting following the fair.
- Awards are distributed by grade level:
- Two winners, grades K-6
- Two winners, grades 7-8
- Two winners, grades 9-12

Where is the event located?
The Chandler Innovation Fair takes place at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park: Stage Plaza, 178 E. Commonwealth Ave.
Where can I park?
Free parking is available at two downtown garages:
- The Johnathan parking garage (south of Buffalo Street, east of Arizona Avenue)
- The Alexander parking garage (north of Boston Street, east of Arizona Avenue)
