Family Easter Celebration Family Easter Celebration takes place April 19
The Easter Bunny is making an egg-citing return to Chandler for the City’s annual Family Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 19. The event starts at 9 a.m. at the Snedigar Sportsplex in south Chandler with some of the most enthusiastic Easter Egg Scrambles in the Valley starting at 10:30 a.m. for kids up to 9 years of age. At 11:30 a.m., there is a Family Easter Basket give-a-way before the event concludes at noon.

Operation Welcome Home Join us in recognizing brave military men and women in Chandler on April 21
The City will honor Chandler veterans at the next Operation Welcome Home Ceremony to take place April 21, 2014, at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. We will recognize Spc. Mason D. Christensen, Yeoman First Class Petty Officer Holly M. Granillo, Chaplain, Colonel (Select) Michael D. Sproul and Spc. Adam J. Webber and their families.

The annual Chandler Family Bike Ride is back! The 7.4-mile ride is free, but pre-registration is recommended. Pre-registration will close at noon on Thursday, April 24. Access the online pre-registration form. The bike ride will take place along the Paseo Canal.

Calling all Chihuahuas Calling All Chihuahuas – Planning Set For Cinco de Mayo Celebration and Chihuahua Races
A full day of fun and excitement is planned for the 17th Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration and Chihuahua Races being held Sat., May 3 in downtown Chandler. Presented by the Sí Se Puede Foundation, the festive event will be held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Public Library Courtyard, 100 E. Commonwealth Avenue. The famous Chihuahua races, sponsored by SRP, will begin at 2 p.m., followed by the crowning of the King and Queen Chihuahua. Registration for the races begins at noon and is open to the first 150 dogs.
