Libraries — with their publically available books and learning materials — are an essential community resource. In the midst of the current health emergency, Chandler Public Library is still available to serve residents through its vast online options for reading, learning and entertainment.

Signing up for a free Chandler Public Library eCard, available online for any Maricopa County resident, grants you access to thousands of unique resources without ever leaving your home.

"While our physical spaces may be temporarily closed, it doesn't mean a complete shutdown of Library services," said Collection Manager Marybeth Gardner. "Cardholders still have a wealth of free knowledge at their fingertips thanks to the variety of digital resources. Most are app-based so they are quick and easy. You can get what you need within minutes, all without having to leave the comfort of your home."

Below are some of the valuable online resources you are free to access anytime using your Chandler Public Library eCard:

eBooks from CloudLibrary

Your eCard gives you subscription access to apps that allow you to check out eBooks and eAudiobooks just as you would with physical copies at a branch. Digital check-out options include new releases and bestsellers from the Library’s Cloud Library collections, as well as children's books and free digital titles from additional no-cost apps.
