The City Clerk’s Office offers a wide range of services to the residents of Chandler and the surrounding communities. Election assistance and passport applications are just some of the services provided, along with a multitude of information and records regarding the City Code and City Council actions. The City Clerk’s Office preserves legal documents and provides information on City Council legislation and action.

The City Clerk’s Office conducts all municipal elections, assists the Mayor in administering the appointment of members to serve on various city boards and commissions, and provides the following services to the public.

Filing a Claim

Arizona Revised Statute § 12-821.01 requires that a notice of claim be filed within 180 days after the cause of action accrues. To file a claim against the City of Chandler, you must serve a notice of claim on the Chandler City Clerk. You may do so by one of the following three methods:

  1. File an online Liability Claim Form. Use of the City of Chandler e-filing claims portal is subject to the User Agreement. The e-filing claims portal does not allow you to save your progress. You will be able to download a PDF copy of your claim after submitting it.
  2. Hand deliver a completed and signed copy of the Liability Claim Form to the Chandler City Clerk at:

  3. Mail a completed and signed copy of the Liability Claim Form to:
