Notice of Intention to Amend Citywide Water, Wastewater,
Reclaimed and Solid Waste Utility Rates

At the Regular Meeting of the Chandler City Council held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, the City Council adopted the resolution to modify Solid Waste, Water, Wastewater and Reclaimed Water Utilities rates with an effective date of January 1, 2024.

A copy of the documents supporting the Increase to Certain Water, Wastewater, Reclaimed Water, and Solid Waste Rates is available in the office of the City Clerk and has been since August 18, 2023, and is also available at 2024 Utility Rate Changes.

 

Proposed Changes to Public Works & Utilities Solid Waste Division Fees

The City of Chandler considered and approved new or modified fees for the Public Works and Utilities Department Solid Waste Division. The changes to the fees are to be effective January 1, 2024.

We have provided details in the Summary of Proposed New or Modified Fees that were approved at the Regular Meeting of the Chandler City Council held on Thursday, October 19, 2023. The fees were posted at least 60 days prior to consideration at the public meeting, to allow time for resident review and comment.
 

Proposed Changes to Community Services Department Fees

The City of Chandler is considering new or modified fees for the Community Services Department. The fee changes are proposed to be effective February 1, 2024.

We have provided details in the Summary of Proposed New or Modified Fees. These fees will be considered at an upcoming Regular Meeting of the Chandler City Council.

The proposed fees have been posted at least 60 days prior to consideration at the public meeting, to allow time for resident review and comment.
 

Proposed System Development Fees Report Update

The City of Chandler is currently updating the Land Use Assumptions (LUA) and Infrastructure Improvement Plan (IIP) as defined in the Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S. §9-463.05), which must be completed every five years. Additionally, fee changes are proposed and under consideration related to this updated report.
