Chandler Aquatic’s recreational Swim Team is a great way to introduce talented swimmers to a friendly competitive atmosphere that’s safe, fun, and exciting. Summer-only, teams provide children with the motivation they need to continually improve their skills and strokes and build self-esteem and lasting friendships.
Over the course of six weeks, coaches help swimmers improve their proficiency and showcase their abilities at weekly swim meets. Most swim meets are held Saturday mornings from 7-10:45 a.m. Home meets will be hosted at the pool at which you practice. Saturday meets will start at 7:30 a.m. with warm-ups at 7 a.m. Coaches will deliver a full schedule at the Virtual Parent Meeting.
Swim Teams are open to individuals, ages 5½ to 18 years, and must have completed the American Red Cross swimming ability equivalent to our Fish class and be able to perform the freestyle and backstroke with some proficiency.
