Swim Team

Chandler Aquatic's six-week summer recreation swim team program is designed to develop the potential of children and teens who are interested in a swim team experience. The swim team experience teaches basic competitive swimming skills, builds self-esteem and improves strokes. It’s a great way to meet new friends, stay active and explore the swim team program. This six-week program is comprised of four teams:

  • Arrowhead Dolphins
  • Arrowhead Sea Lions
  • Mesquite Sting Rays
  • West Chandler Hammerheads

Swim Team Registration Questions

Registration is open to individuals, ages 5-1/2 to 18 and must have completed the American Red Cross swimming ability equivalent to our Fish class. No exceptions can be made. Participants must be able to perform, with some proficiency, the following strokes: freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke.

  • 9 to 18 years old - MUST be able to swim continuously for 50 yards freestyle with rotary breathing AND 50 yards of backstroke.

Registration is age specific. The cutoff date for the age verification is June 1 of the upcoming season. Your child must be 5½ on or before this date.
