Immerse yourself in a whirlwind of live music, delicious food and engaging experiences.Highlights include:An International Shopping Market, where you can discover unique treasures and handmade goods from around the globe.The World Bizarre offers a mouthwatering variety of ethnic cuisines sure to satisfy your taste buds.Engaging cultural performances that will transport you to different corners of the world.Interactive kids' activitiesOpportunities to connect with over 50 local non-profits representing and serving diverse communities.As part of the Celebration of Unity, we will also recognize the inspiring voices of our youth through the Creative Expression Competition and honor outstanding individuals with the 4th Annual MLK Jr. Award winners.This event is made possible by the City of Chandler’s Connection & Impact Division—join us as we celebrate culture, unity and community.Please note: Food collection bins will be available at this city event. 11 a.m. | The 8 Foundation 

The 8 Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing leadership and a sense of service to our communities amongst our youth. Our 400+ volunteers actively support community groups facing hardships, including seniors, hospital patients, children without parental guardianship, and homeless veterans. Please enjoy the selection of Chinese cultural performances, featuring dances, fashion shows, and music.

12:10 p.m. | Celtic Steps Irish Dance 

Celtic Steps Irish dance is located in Chandler and Tucson, and they have dancers from the age of 4 up to adults. Over the last 20 years students have enjoyed major success, both in  competition, and performance.

12:25 p.m. | The Prancing Panthers Majorettes 

The Prancing Panthers Majorettes are Arizona's premier and only dance group of their kind, bringing the electric energy and powerful traditions of HBCU culture to the East Valley. Rooted in the legacy of Alcorn State University, the team captivates audiences with a unique performance style that blends fiery footwork, deep Southern swag, and unmatched precision.

12:30 p.m. | Kenary Dance

This group is proud to enrich the community through public performances while fostering a deep appreciation for Bulgarian dance, music, tradition, and culture. They aim to inspire audiences and members of all ages and ethnicity.

1:05 p.m. | Native American reggae artist "Casper & The 602 Band"

CASPER LOMAYESVA is a Hopi / Dine’ singer, songwriter who has created a sound that combines his native roots with the positive vibes of reggae music. Casper’s music is filled with hope and power. The words are a reflection of his own philosophy on life, influenced not only by the sounds of crucial reggae music but of traditional Hopi Culture.

2:35 p.m. | Calumet 

Calumet is a modern funk and soul group with 6 albums and EPs and over 40 singles of original music. Formed in 2001 by Eric Mobley and Jason Mitchell, the band uses their music to promote tolerance and equality.

3:50: p.m. | Jessica Maeve 

Aloha! Jessica Maeve is an award winning 'ukulele artist and singer songwriter who loves to surprise audiences with what she can play on the uke while singing! The 'ukulele isn't the only instrument she performs with, but it's her favorite one to play! Her style of playing is original and unique, so you're always in for a treat.

4:40 p.m. | Creative Expression Competition Winners

5 p.m. | Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ 

Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli AZ is a nonprofit dance company showcasing the beauty and power of Mexican folkloric traditions through folkloric dance and  community centered performances. With 17 years of cultural impact, they’ve grown from a small class into a respected company that has collaborated with award winning artists and performed at major venues across the Valley and Internationally.

Event History

In 1995, the Friends of the Chandler Public Library established the Chandler Multicultural Festival to bring the community together for a fun-filled day of art, music, and dance while also learning a little more about the rich cultural diversity that exists in our community. The festival has grown into a signature event for the City and offers a quality arts experience in the comfortable setting of the downtown Chandler Public Library.
