Red, White, and Boom! Chandler is celebrating Independence Day celebration, with a “drive-in” style July 4th Fireworks Spectacular, at sprawling Tumbleweed Park. This year’s fireworks show will continue to give the community an opportunity to have fun while responsibly staying safe and celebrating our nation’s independence. More information regarding this year's event, including portal access and purchase instructions, and traffic plans is shared below.

$5 parking passes are required for entry into the event. Passes go on sale Tuesday, June 1 for Chandler Residents and Friday, June 18 for the general public. Residency will be verified at the time of purchase on the City's Utility Services Portal. Space is limited to ensure the safety of all guests.

Chandler Residents      June 1-17

A parking pass is required for entry into the event. Chandler residents are given priority access to passes from June 1-17. Beginning June 18 general sales open to the public. Residency is verified through the City's Utility Service Online Portal. Passes are $5 per vehicle and all major credit cards are accepted.

  • Enter your username and password
  • Once on the portal home page, click on July 4th Fireworks Spectacular
You will be immediately redirected to take the ACE Parking website. 
  • Select Book Now and follow the checkout process
It is important to use your preferred email address as this is where your QR Code Parking Pass will be sent once payment is complete.
  • Keep the QR Code on your phone or in a printed form for the event night

  • Access Utility Services Portal
  • Select the Register under Chandler Utility Services on the lefthand side of the screen
  • Enter all the information required in each field and then select Register
It is important to have your Account Number and Customer Number ready as you will need both to complete your Parking Pass purchase.
  • Check your email account and open the email from the City of Chandler
  • Select the Confirmation Link in the email to complete the registration process

Residents who live in communities where utilities are paid by one entity (i.e. apartment management company, HOA, etc)
  • Email Special Events
  • Include the following information in your email:
    • A copy of your driver’s license
    • A copy of your electric, gas, cable, or internet bill with your Chandler address
    • Name on driver’s license and bill need to match
  • Upon confirmed residency, a response email will be sent with the parking pass purchasing information

Parking Pass Sales Open

General Public               June 18 – July 4 prior to event start

A parking pass is required for entry into the event. Chandler residents are given priority access to passes from June 1-17. Beginning June 18 general sales open to the public and be available online until the start of the event. 

Refunds are available upon request and must be requested on or before July 3.

  • Reference the Customer Service phone number listed just below the QR Code on your Parking Pass
  • Refunds are accepted over the phone, daily 
  • The refund process may take up to four days to complete
  • Once the refund has been initiated, the Parking Pass will be made invalid
  • Refunds requested on July 4 or later will not be refunded
Event Information

Chandler welcomes the community to celebrate July 4th in a healthy and safe manner. Here's what you can expect:

  • Parking Attendants will guide each vehicle with a parking pass to a designated parking spot.
  • Walk-ins and bicyclists will be permitted as space allows.
  • Guests may remain inside their vehicle, sit outside next to their vehicle or sit in the grass field closest to their vehicle. Please be respectful of other guests and practice social distancing when possible.
  • Guests may bring their own food, snack, and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Tailgating, grilling, alcohol, marijuana, personal fireworks, or sparklers are not permitted.
  • Note that Tumbleweed Park and amenities will be closed to the public during the event.
  • For traffic and safety reasons, rideshare drop-off is not permitted.
  • All vehicles must be able to fit into a single parking spot so RVs and oversized vehicles are not permitted.
  • Light snacks and non-alcoholic drinks will be sold at various locations in the parking lot.
The Fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. and lasts approximately 20 minutes.

The health and safety of our community continue to be our utmost priority. To that end, this year’s event will not offer entertainment and interactive attractions.

This year’s event is a drive-in experience. A pre-purchased parking pass is required for entry into the park. Parking locations will be assigned to guests upon entry at the event. Parking Attendants will escort vehicles to their assigned spot.

It is important to have your QR Code Parking Pass ready to be scanned upon arrival into Tumbleweed Park. Your QR Code can be on your phone or printed out.

How to Access the Parking Entrances

Enter at...

  1. Hamilton Street & Germann Road Entrance
    • Enter Arizona Avenue going east on Germann Road towards the entrance
    • Enter McQueen Road going west on Germann Road towards the entrance
  2. McQueen Road & Celebration Way Entrance
    • Enter McQueen Road going south towards the entrance
It is important to note that there will be no access to this entrance for northbound traffic on McQueen Road.

 

Disabled Parking

Disabled parking will be provided to vehicles with parking passes that display disabled placards and license plates.

Interested in participating as a vendor for the July 4th Fireworks Spectacular? Vendor applications are being accepted for consideration.

Prospective Vendors must:
  • Selling only snacks (i.e. kettle corn, fry bread, ice cream, etc.) and/or beverages
  • Be self-contained trucks and/or trailers
  • Provide own power and/or water needs
General Application Information:
  • Vendor Application Deadline is Friday, June 11, 2021, or when all space has been reserved.
  • The number of booth spaces is limited and not all submissions will be accepted.
