CHANDLER, Ariz. — As part of the General Plan Update process, the City of Chandler is hosting two interactive Chandler Listens workshops to gather community input on future growth and development. Both sessions offer a hands-on opportunity for residents to be a part of the process that guides Chandler’s long-term growth, development and quality of life for the next decade.

The Chandler Listens workshops will be held at the Chandler Museum, 300 S. Chandler Village Drive on the following dates and times:

  • Tuesday, Aug. 5 | 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 9 | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Food will be provided for attendees; tacos will be served on Tuesday night and sandwiches on Saturday.

These workshops are important to help define Chandler's vision for key topics, including land use, housing, water, transportation and public amenities.

“Both workshops offer a creative and collaborative way for residents to directly influence Chandler’s future planning,” said Lauren Schumann, principal planner for the City of Chandler. “The community’s ideas and input will help craft a shared vision for sustainable growth and vibrant neighborhoods for the next 10 years.”
