CHANDLER, Ariz. — The City of Chandler’s Golden Neighbors program is back in session for the 2026–2027 year, kicking off this September with a free movie at Harkins Theatres located at Chandler Fashion Center, 3159 W. Chandler Blvd. The free movie event will be held from 9:30–11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10.
During the screening, attendees will receive free popcorn and beverages. RSVPs are encouraged to ensure there are enough snacks for all attendees. Visit Golden Neighbors to RSVP. The movie title will be posted at the end of the month. Attendees also may RSVP by contacting Neighborhood Programs staff at 480-782-4362.

- Thursday, Oct. 8, from 9:30–11 a.m. | Learn about the various transportation options for seniors in Chandler, as well as assistance with creating accounts to utilize ride services.
- Thursday, Nov. 12, from 9:30–11 a.m. | Learn about all the programs and services available through Chandler’s Neighborhood Resources Department during a ‘Thankful for Resources’ event.
