CHANDLER, Ariz. – Rogers Corporation, a global leader in engineered material solutions, will be expanding its presence on Chandler’s Price Corridor. The company has purchased real estate, buildings and equipment to support its Advanced Connectivity Solutions (ACS) business segment.

“We are very pleased that Rogers Corporation is continuing to expand in our Price Corridor,” said Chandler Mayor Jay Tibshraeny. “Rogers Corporation is a global technology leader and this decision to invest in Chandler strengthens our position as the Innovation and Technology Hub of the Southwest.”

This transaction expands Rogers’ manufacturing footprint in Chandler, where the company employs roughly 500 area residents. Rogers’ ACS business is projecting significant growth in key markets that include 5G wireless infrastructure and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

“This asset purchase is part of our strategic expansion in ACS to meet the expected demand growth in our Advanced Connectivity and Advanced Mobility markets,” said Bruce Hoechner, Rogers’ President and Chief Executive Officer. “We considered various global locations for our ACS expansion, but the proximity of these assets to ACS’ headquarters and existing ACS manufacturing operations, plus the continuing support of the city and state, drove our decision to select Chandler.”

The company has been manufacturing in the Chandler area for more than 50 years. This latest expansion by Rogers comes two years after the company announced the relocation of its corporate headquarters to Chandler.

"Rogers Corporation's continued expansion in Greater Phoenix illustrates the robust operating environment and attractive community assets that exist in Chandler," said Chris Camacho, President and CEO of Greater Phoenix Economic Council.

Rogers Corporation plans to immediately start upgrading the facilities and equipment at the former ISOLA site. The company anticipates having the site ready for commercial production in 2019.
