CHANDLER, Ariz. — In honor of National Good Neighbor Day, Chandler residents can stop by the courtyard at Chandler City Hall courtyard, 175 S. Arizona Ave., for a free ice cream treat from 2–4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28. City staff from various departments will have booths with information on programs and services as well as free giveaways.
"Good neighbors are what make Chandler such a special place to live, and National Good Neighbor Day is our chance to celebrate that,” said Priscilla Quintana, Chandler’s neighborhood programs manager. “We'd love for you to stop by, grab some ice cream and connect with the programs and people who are here to support you."
The celebration follows a proclamation recognizing National Good Neighbor Day, which will be read at the Sept. 14 City Council meeting.
