CFD: Hazardous Material Permit

Permission to proceed with the activity described below in accordance with the specified conditions is granted by the Fire Chief since the processes, conditions, surroundings and arrangements of the property comply with the Fire Code as amended by the City of Chandler. This permit shall remain in effect until reissued, renewed or revoked or for such a period of time as specified in the permit.

This permit does not take the place of any licenses or other permits required by law and are not transferable. This permit is not transferable and any changes in occupancy, operations, tenancy or ownership shall require a new permit to be issued. Issued permits shall be kept on the premises designated therein at all times and shall be readily available for inspection by the fire code official.

To store, transport on site, dispense, use, or handle Hazardous Materials, as approved in the Hazardous Material Inventory Statement (HMIS) and in accordance with the Fire Code.

  1. Storage, transport on site, dispense, use, or handle maximum quantities in accordance with the annual approved HMIS and Fire Code.
  2. The approved HMIS shall be maintained electronically, available to the Fire Department at all times and must remain on site.
