Divisions
Serving Arizona's fourth-largest city, the 77th largest city in the United States, with a population of 293,987 (as of October 2026), the Chandler Police Department consists of 348 sworn officers, including over-hires, and 196 civilian employees.
It is organized into three main divisions; each comprising various sections and specialized units.

I am proud and honored to have been selected as the new Chief of Police in Chandler, Arizona. My family and I are thrilled to call this vibrant community our home.
Chandler has long been known for its low crime rates, rapidly growing economy, family-friendly atmosphere, exceptional amenities, and proud history. I am deeply grateful to have been selected to serve alongside the dedicated men and women who make up the Chandler Police Department. Together, we will continue to build upon the success of this agency and continue to work with our community. I realize that the success of an agency relies on the strong partnerships we build with those who live, work, and visit our city.
