Landscaping and Irrigation Workshops

On Friday, March 13, Chandler City Manager Marsha Reed announced changes to some public services and the cancellation or postponement of most special events on City property through April 30, due to risks associated with the global COVID-19 outbreak.

Each spring and fall, the Water Conservation Office offers classes designed to help residents learn how to use water more efficiently and still have a lush, beautiful looking yard.

All workshops/classes are free of charge to Chandler utility customers, but advanced registration is required as space is limited. Registration is available online or by phone. Class listings, locations and links to online registration forms are found below. For more information, contact the Water Conservation Office.

Class & Workshop Descriptions for Spring 2020

A new generation of controllers is available that automatically adjusts your irrigation schedule based on actual site and weather conditions. Learn how these controllers can prevent irrigation when it rains, apply more water to your landscape during unexpected hot and dry spells, and automatically adjust watering to reduce runoff from slopes.

You may even be eligible for a rebate of up to $3,000.
