250 Roots of FreedomSeptember 14 - 20Celebrate America's 250th anniversary by planting a native plant in your yard! During 250 Roots of Freedom, the Chandler Nature Center is giving Chandler residents a FREE native plant propagated at our Native Plant Oasis at Veterans Oasis Park. Residents may choose from Arizona Milkweed, Pineneedle Milkweed, Rush Milkweed, Passionflower Vine, and Pink Fairy Duster while supplies last. These native plants provide valuable habitat for monarch butterflies, pollinators, and other wildlife while enhancing water-wise landscapes. To receive a plant, you must have a valid driver's license with a Chandler address. Plants are available at the Chandler Nature Center during regular hours while supplies last. Limit one plant per Chandler household.
