National Good Neighbor Day (Rescheduled)
*This event was originally scheduled for Sept. 26, but was rescheduled due to weather.In honor of National Good Neighbor Day, Chandler residents can stop by the city’s Neighborhood Resources building for a free treat from Andy’s Custard on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 3–4:30 p.m. Attendees also will receive a coloring sheet with tips on how to be a good neighbor and other resources offered by the department.Neighborhood Resources is located directly south of Chandler City Hall at 235 S. Arizona St. (just east of Arizona Avenue along Chicago Street). Chandler’s Neighborhood Programs staff will be outside to greet attendees as they drive by to receive their free items.
