Named after boxer Zora Folley, a Chandler resident who in 1967 fought Muhammad Ali for the heavyweight title and later served on the Chandler City Council, Folley Memorial Park is rich in history and recreational opportunities. The 24-acre park features two basketball courts, two baseball and softball fields, offering covered awning seating for spectators. The park is a popular spot to beat the Arizona heat with its pool and aquatic center. Reservable pavilions and picnic areas offer the perfect setting for celebrations and get-togethers.
At this time park restrooms are closed. Park reservations are still available. For more information or assistance making a reservation, please call Recreation Services at 480-782-2727. |
