If you’re looking for some great local fishing holes, check out Chandler’s well-stocked lakes. In partnership, with Arizona Game and Fish, the City’s community fishing holes at Desert Breeze Park and Veterans Oasis Park provide high-quality angling experiences. Catch rainbow trout, bluegill, redear sunfish, hybrid sunfish and/or largemouth bass at these beautifully secluded lakes.
The lakes are stocked with fish every two weeks from mid-September through June and offer fishing from the bank. Arizona Fish Stocking Schedules are tentative and subject to change due to weather or lake conditions. Consult the schedule before you go.
Personal watercraft, such as canoes and kayaks, are not permitted on the lakes. There are no catch-and-release requirements but there are limitations. You can check pages 8 and 22 for the daily bag and possession limit in the Fishing Regulations packet for Veterans Oasis Park and Desert Breeze Park. Signs are also posted along both park lakes.
